CHRIS Gange’s scintillating 165 not out propelled Bridgwater into the Regional Final of the National Knock-Out Cup to complete a weekend double for the team.
It was Gange’s second unbeaten century of the season as Bridgwater amassed an imposing 275-4 after winning the toss at The Parks on Sunday.
All the home batsmen contributed, batting around the impressive Gange who gave a master class in the art of building an innings, that was to be the backbone of his teams match-winning total.
There was little respite for the Falmouth players as Bridgwater’s in-form seam attack of Ian Bishop, Chris Skidmore, Steffan Jones and Scott Clapp dismantled their line-up in only 21 overs, aided by an excellent fielding display which saw Bridgwater continue their outstanding start to the season.
In the Regional Final at The Parks, Bridgwater will host the current Devon Premier League leaders, Bovey Tracey, on June 17 at 1pm.
