Abigail Locke boosts Bridgwater College women's football squad

BRIDGWATER College have boosted their women's football squad with Abigail Locke joining them in September.
The youngster is the first to use the college's scholarship scheme worth up to £500 where she will combine her A-Level studies with a structured and professional football programme.
Sports Development Manager Luke Buckingham said: “We have known about Abigail for a while and we are delighted that she is joining us considering she had a number of other offers.”
Locke, who currently studies in Street, said: “I'm excited about getting started because I've heard so many great things from other players.”
