BRIDGWATER College's Motorsport Team had their five minutes of fame when they recently raced at Castle Combe for the live Motors TV event, which included rounds two and three of the Sports & GT Championship.
The group raced their Radical PR6 in challenging weather conditions but managed to take four seconds off the previous wet event lap time with the car positioned in fourth place on the grid for both races.
Race One saw the team finished third and only two seconds behind the winner. Race two was even more difficult to gauge in terms of the changing conditions and the wrong tyre choice proved costly, as the team could only manage a sixth place overall.
