Somerset Under-15s Cup Semi-final Yeovil Schools 0, Bridgwater Schools 1 BRIDGWATER travelled to reigning Broadshield and Somerset Champions Yeovil for a Somerset Cup semi-final first leg clash.
The visitors started brightly and Regan Blake was rewarded for his hard work when he flicked in a near-post corner from Pedro Cavarro to put Bridgwater ahead.
Bridgwater defended brilliantly with Dave Hughes, Chad Chappell and Jack Millard showing stubborn resistance and the whole squad produced heroics as Yeovil threw everything at them.
The midfield of Rhys Hayward, Cameron Hampson, Alex Male, Stanton Brunning, Jack Griffiths and Ell Grant were tireless in their efforts.
Forwards Krae Bell and Blake were willing runners and goalkeeper Clayton Payne took the man of the match.

National Under-13s Cup 3rd Round Portsmouth Schools 3, Bridgwater Schools 1 THERE was less luck for Bridgwater Schools Under-13s in their National Cup match against Portsmouth Schools.
Bridgwater took an early lead through the lively Jamie Burton who scored from a tight angle but poor marking from a corner led to Portsmouth equalising just before half-time.
The home side then dominated the second-half to run out winners.
