Bridgwater Junior Netball Club rounded off a successful weekend with the U14 squad securing top spot in their league and a place in the regional tournament.

There were good performances from all players in the U13/U14 group.

Squad members were: Lucy Brown, Sophie Brown, Morganne Dunn, Laura Gibson, Charlie Gilbert, Matilda Gould, April Hallett, Carly Johnson, Jess Kemmish, Amy Knight, Amyy Reeves, Georgie Rose, Victoria Saban, Megan Scott, Jessica Shanahan, Jess Atkinson, Alex Barton , Eloise Cowen, Annia Holleron, Amy Kemmish, Mary King, Lucy Kyte, Catherine Marshall, Shawnee May, Sennen Meredith, Imogen Setter, Katie Shanahan, Katy Tasker, Chloe Tozer, Anna Weston and Georgia Weston THE U12s maintained their excellent record with three wins and are challenging for top spot in their league.

Squad members were: Chloe Berry, Sophie Cornish, Emily Harwood, Hana Middleton, Ella Noble, Thalia Rowe, Victoria Toogood, Lydia Tozer, Chloe Trout, Kaitlin Woods, Bethany Day, Izzie Draper, Juste Mockeliunaite, Nicole Morris and Hannah Sayer THE U11s had their first outing as a separate team, winning two games and drawing one – a great start for them.

Squad members were: Lucy Dean, Darcie Dunn, Bethany Gibson, Emily Rossiter, Rachel Rowland, Charlotte Setter, Hannah Setter and Georgia Tailby.

Bridgwater (U16s) 38, Plymouth Pilgrims 18 THE U16s played a Regional League game at Plymouth against local side, Pilgrims. Solid defending from Sammy Kemmish and Hannah Symes, combined with excellent circle feeding from Karis Holleron, and a good team performance that saw all players take to the court at some point, gave them a comfortable win and a boost to their confidence after a heavy mid-week defeat by Saints from Cornwall.
