Rebels to announce anniversary meeting date

SOMERSET Rebels general manager David Croucher hopes to be in a position next week to announce the date of the club’s tenth anniversary meeting.

“Now we are no longer in the Premier League KO Cup it frees up some dates we had to keep in reserve for the latter stages of the competition,” he said.

“Now these dates have become available to us again, I am hopeful that during next week I will be able to confirm the date of the club’s tenth anniversary meeting.

“Obviously a number of factors come into play when trying to fix a date for the meeting, not least the availability of riders.

"But I am close to confirming a few outstanding matters and once these are in place the date of the meeting will be announced.”
