DOM Bess took three wickets and a spectacular catch as England completed an innings win over Pakistan in the second Test at Headingley.
Bess accounted for Imam ul-Haq (34) for his maiden Test wicket, and then Usman Salahuddin (33) and Faheem Ashraf (3), to finish with 3-33 off 11 overs.
Stuart Broad also took three wickets, as Pakistan were dismissed for 134, giving England victory by an innings and 55 runs.
Bess took an excellent catch to dismiss Haris Sohail off the bowling of James Anderson, diving to his left and holding on to see off the batsman.
BBC cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew commented: "I'm a huge fan of Dom Bess.
"Not only does he have an excellent attitude, but he batted with maturity, was electric in the field and deserved the wickets he got on the third day."
Bess has given himself a great chance of further England call-ups, possibly alongside his Somerset team-mate Jack Leach.
