BRIDGWATER & Albion are looking forward to the chance to exact revenge on the Cornish All Blacks in South West One (W) this weekend.

Albion lost 19-13 in November's fixture in Launceston, but director of rugby Geoff Sluman said: “We are keen to put things right as we are back at home for the first time in a while.

“We played well there earlier in the season, only losing by three points, and we dropped the ball over the line in the last play of the game."

The game kicks off at 3pm, rather than the previously advertised 1pm.

Reflecting on Saturday’s defeat at Matson, Sluman said: “Tactically we did the right things, but we were very disappointed to lose in the way that we did.

“Matson looked like a team who were playing as though their lives depended on it, whereas we took a little while to get going at the start.”

North Petherton, whose thumping home win over Teignmouth last weekend brought them to within four points of Albion, are without a game on Saturday, but their 2nds host Crewkerne in Somerset One - Morganians host Old Sulians in the same division.

Bridgwater & Albion 2nds travel to Nailsea & Backwell in Somerset Premier, while 3rds host Wells in Somerset Two South.
