TRISTAN Marshall, from Wembdon, is the new British Under-14 Nordic Skiing champion.
The 13-year-old, who attends Haygrove School, emerged victorious at the British Nordic Ski Championships in Castle Combe, Wiltshire, on October 1.
Tristan is a part of the British Nordic Development Squad (BNDS), who develop athletes who will eventually compete in the Winter Olympics at Nordic (cross country) skiing.
For the GB Roller Ski Series athletes need to take part in five events; Tristan took part in six races and won all six, so he is now also the GB Roller Ski Series champion.
