BRIDGWATER & Albion are looking to build on last weekend's excellent victory over Thornbury as they travel to North Devon to face mid-table rivals Bideford on Saturday.

Albion, who now sit seventh, won the reverse fixture 26-20 earlier in the season so will be looking to complete the double this weekend against their ninth-placed opponents.

Previewing the match, Head Coach Nick Morrell said: “If we can field as strong a team at Bideford as we did against Thornbury then there is no reason why we can’t get another win under our belts, and continue to climb the table towards that top five.”

Morrell was particularly impressed with the impact of the new additions to his squad last weekend.

“Harry Collins and Nick Spellissy made a huge difference," he said.

"They’re imposing and ball-carrying figures.

“It was great to see the way the boys attacked and it was a little shop window of some of the things that we have been working on.

"The shape in our attacks and the intensity we played with was how we train, so it’s very pleasing that it came off."
