DAN Roberts and Josh Speed both bagged hat-tricks for North Petherton as they recorded their first league win of the season in emphatic style, thrashing Woolavington 7-2 in Division two of the Uxella Sunday League.

Dan Wilkes was also on target for Pethy, who climb off the bottom of the table.

They leapfrog Huntspill BPH who suffered a 9-1 drubbing at Stogursey Rangers.

Ryan Chidgey scored a hat-trick, while there were further goals for Regan Blake, Bradley Brooks (2), Dan Glover, Simon Turberfield and Gary Nurton.

Elsewhere in Division Two, Rhode Lane Wanderers retained top spot with a 5-3 victory over Puriton.

Greg Turner (2) and Liam Barnett were on target for Puriton.

Huntspill Crowns are hot on the trail of Rhode Lane after a 2-0 victory over Red Road Rangers – Lewis Rogers and Luc Walker scored the goals.

In Division One, Jack Winter netted twice for Riger Old Boys in a 3-2 win at second-place Ramblers.

Ian Bellinger grabbed Tiger’s third.

Elsewhere in Division One, New Foresters recorded their second win of the season, thrashing Pawlett Rebels 8-2 thanks to goals from Ed Harrison, Lewis Hodge, James Jodkowski, Richie Meek, Brendon Pope, Benn Searle and Rob White.

Nick Godfrey and Dean Taylor scored for Pawlett.

Red Tile kept hold of top spot with a 3-1 win at Highburn Athletic.
