WOOLAVINGTON cruised into the final of the Gardner Cup with a 5-2 victory over Hamilton Athletic Foxes.

In Division Two, there was nothing really to play for in the game between Minehead Reserves and The Gallery.

Minehead took the lead through Braden Taylor due to a howler of a defensive error from Mark Barden. Gallery finally woke up and veteran Mark Pope banged in four quick goals - one in particular stands out, a 45 yard looping free kick.

Billy Taylor got one back for Minehead but the game ended 4-2 to Gallery.

It was Morganians’ last game and they needed to beat opponents Milverton Rangers to stand a chance of fourth place – but they to a 4-1 defeat.

Milverton started off balance and should have scored three within the first fifteen minutes but didn’t.

Craig Plumridge did put Milverton ahead and Cy Rich made it 2-1 at half time, with Andrew James having got one for Morganians.

The second half saw Milverton come out and see off a strong hitting Morganians team with a great hat-trick from the team’s prolific goal scorer, Craig Plumridge.

Milverton are now guaranteed fourth but can still take third if they win their last two games assuming Wembdon don’t slip up in their last game.

Division Five is still wide open with any one of three teams able to become champions.

A 6-3 away win for East Bower at Fivehead earned them three vital points which catapulted them from fourth to top. Scorers for Bower were Jack Edwards with two, Mike Watts, Louis Watts, Lewis Jordan and Richard Eckley with one each. Nick Beazeley, Dan Rogers and Tom Bond all scored one each for Fivehead.
