THERE were thirteen goals in the Division Five game at Hamilton Park where Bridgwater Wolves beat Hamilton Athletic Foxes 8-5.

Ashley Miles scored a remarkable double hat-trick for Wolves, while Jake Sharman and Josh Crook with one each. Kieran Shelvin hit a hat-trick for Foxes, Chris McKee added one and Wolves gave them an own goal.

Elsewhere in the division, Morganians Reserves need points to move up the table and they got three at home to Fivehead who they beat 2-0, Wayne Shepard and Dan Frost scoring.

Once again the Taunton & District Saturday League has a side in the final of the Somerset Intermediate Cup in Westonzoyland, who beat Purnell Sports 3-0. Two goals from James Millard and a Calum Butt goal sealed the result.

West Somerset Rose Bowl Milverton Rangers from Division Two are on fire in this competition - having beaten Division One opponents Middlezoy Rovers Reserves 7-1 in the quarter-final, they went on this week to achieve the same thing with the same score, this time their victims were Wyvern Rangers.

Craig Plumridge scored a hat-trick in the first half before ending up with four - Brian Cosgrove, Cy Rich and Gary Brewer all added one each.

In Division One, North Petherton ended their season with a 1-3 defeat to Bishops Lydeard - and The Gallery are very nearly confirmed as Division Two runners-up but need one more point from their last two games assuming Milverton Rangers win all theirs – and made no mistake this week beating Dulverton Town 6-1 on their own patch.

Wembdon beat Minehead 5-1 in their penultimate match and went in at the break 2-0 to the good courtesy of a close range effort from Liam Kitchker and a neat finish at the back post from Si Lukins - Tim Richards added a spectacular third.

In Division Three, Sydenham Rangers thrashed Tone Youth Reserves 9-1 - there were two hat trick heroes for Rangers namely, Cam Wilkinson and Gareth Treasure, Carl Jones, Martyn and Jack Fairfax all added one each.

In Division Four, the champions are still to be decided with the top two sides confirmed as Creech Cougars and Ash Rangers, but in which order they finish is yet to be decided - but that may well change next week when the pair meet.

After a few weeks without a game Williton grabbed a vital home point with a 3-3 draw with Middlezoy Athletic in a bid to avoid relegation, with Chris Pople scoring twice and Dan Godfrey on target for the home side - Martin Innalls, Aaron James and Chad Chappell all scored for Athletic.
