DIVISION A Mansion House put the defeat of their previous game behind them and secured a vital 38-pin home win against the George and which has confirmed them as Bridgwater & District Ladies’ Skittles League champions.
Barb Atyeo and Emily Hoare top scored with 60 for Mansion House. Lamb B N/P could not capitalise on their advantage of a final away game at the Globe, Cannington, plus an outstanding away game at the George as they suffered losses in both games.
Their position as runners-up has now not been confirmed as a 44- pin away win by Harvest Moon B earned them the three points, making both teams level on 20 points.
The game played between Harvest Moon A and Lime Kiln saw Lime Kiln take the away points while playing with Mrs X.
At the bottom of the division the two teams going down into Division B has yet to be decided. Globe B Cann sitting on the bottom have three outstanding games with two of the games against the teams just above them.
Division B champions have been confirmed as OVH following their 26-pin away win and runners-up place has gone to Globe A, Cann, who had an 84- pin away win.
In the other match played, West India House secured a fourpin home win, despite playing two Mrs X.
