LUKE Miller was in red-hot goal scoring form for Spaxton Rangers as they thrashed Bridgwater Wolves 11-0 in Division 3 of the Uxella Bridgwater & District Sunday League.

The league leaders showed little mercy on eighth-placed Wolves, with further goals from Jamie Sellick (2), Louis Fox (3) and George Bull.

Elsewhere in Division 3, Wayne Hand bagged a hat-trick for Huntspill Crowns as they cruised to an 8-1 win at Red Road Rangers – while Spenny’s Sports Bar continued their charge towards the top with an 8-0 victory over Huntspill BPH. Andrew Evans (2), Sam Edmunds (2), Tom Clark, Daniel McCabe, Matt Brewer and Ossian Gould were all on target for the hosts in a comfortable win.

In the division’s final fixture, Rhode Lane Wanderers were 2-1 winners at Woolavington thanks to two goals from Joe Fitzsimmons.

In Division 2, leaders Cobblestones were held to a 2-2 draw by Flag Old Boys – and New Foresters secured a sixth win of the season, thrashing Puriton 8-1. Rob White (4) and Brendan Pope (2) did the majority of the damage for Stones. Elsewhere, Knowle Dynamos were 2-0 winners at Ramblers.

In Division 1, Jamie Winter scored twice as Blake Old Boys edged a nine-goal thriller with Pawlett Rebels 5-4. Jamie Evans, Owen Sellick and Sean Roberts completed the scoring for Blake; Darryl Taylor (2), Simon Coombes and Mattie Winter were on target for the Rebels.

Table-toppers Tiger Old Boys were 5-3 winners at Middlezoy Amicus thanks to an Ian Bellinger hattrick – and Red Tile ran riot at Cornhill, winning 14-1 thanks to hat-tricks from Brad Hayes, Jack Taylor and Michael Duffy.
