Tiverton Town 1, Bridgwater Town 2

TOM Knighton scored twice against his former club to fire Bridgwater Town to a 2-1 victory over Tiverton on Tuesday night.

Knighton headed home a free-kick from close range in the opening stages - and the striker netted again before the break to give the Robins a 2-0 half-time lead.

Dan Western's deflected strike pulled one back for Tiverton in injury time and a neat save from Chris Wright in the dying seconds denied them a dramatic equaliser.

Bridgwater Town take on Shortwood United on Saturday at Fairfax Park.
