THIS summer, there is a great opportunity to learn an exciting and different sport – and what could be a better way of spending your summer holiday than learning to fight with swords?

Wellington Swords Fencing Club is offering children the chance to learn this fast, exciting sport Two beginners’ courses for all youngster aged 10 to 14 at Wellsprings Leisure Centre, in Taunton, and at the Princess Royal’s Sports Centre, in Wellington, will be held during the week starting August 4.

At Wellsprings ,the course, which costs £20 for the week, runs Monday to Thursday, 9am to 10.30am and the Wellington course, costing £25, runs from 11.3am to 1pm, Monday to Friday Fencing is fast, fun and exhilarating and with the right tuition anyone can enjoy this Olympic sport.

Learning to fence is not only great fun but also helps improve coordination, balance, speed and general fitness.

This is a great opportunity not to be missed to learn from a top Hungarian coach.

All kit will be provided, just come in clean trainers, sports clothes and bring a drink.
