THE match between King's College and Millfield School, which was due to be held on the County Ground this afternoon as a curtain raiser to Somerset's T20 game, has been cancelled following this morning's heavy rain.

Today's forecast is for more heavy rain until 1pm with heavy, thundery showers later.

The ground will open as planned at 12.45pm but the prospects for the Cidermen's match against Essex, which is due to start at 5.30pm, are clearly receding.

For updates on the prospects of play keep checking this website or the Somerset CCC website.
