STANDOUT performances from Kieran Windsor and Eddie Knight fired Bridgwater A to a 117-run win over Bagborough in Division one of the Somerset league on Saturday.

Windsor struck an unbeaten 76 as Bridgwater A posted 237-3 off their 45 overs before Knight tore through Bagborough to return 5-17.

Also in Division 1, Middlezoy slumped to a 69- run reverse at North Perrott despite 50 from Nathan Barnard.

Chasing 232, Barnard (50) and Whitemore (26) top scored for Zoy, but they fell well short.

Earlier, P. Tilling (4-74) and G. Musgrave (3- 31) were the pick of the bowlers.

In Division 2, Kilve were 33-run winners over winless Burnham, courtesy of a brilliant allround display from Carl Clemenson.

Clemenson scored 30 to help Kilve to 163 all out batting first before taking 4-28 as Burnham were all out for 136.

Chris Barrington was the star for North Newton as they beat Belvedere by eight wickets in Division 2.

He scored an unbeaten 72 to guide his side past their target of 163 after taking 4-27 earlier in the day. M. Barham took 4-38 while A.

Jenkins scored 55.

Mark were thrashed by Baltonsborough by 178 runs in Division 5, having been skittled out for just 77 in pursuit of an imposing 253.

Chilton Polden slipped to a six-wicket defeat by Huish & Langport in Division 6 despite 53 from J. Adams, and in Division 7 Wembdon Wyverns were beaten by 93 runs by Uphill Castle Cavaliers despite 50 from Steve Pigden.

In Division 8S, Wembdon Academy finished 41 runs short at Belvedere II, while Middlezoy were 92-run winners over Watchet thanks to 50 and 3-25 from Grant Purchase.
