THE Somerset Cricket Board is currently asking for nominations for this year’s NatWest OSCAs (Outstanding Service to Cricket Awards).

The OSCAs are a national reward and recognition scheme to support grass roots cricket and the vast army of volunteers who ensure that the game can be enjoyed by so many.

Each year the SCB asks clubs and organisations to nominate worthy volunteers for an OSCA as a way of saying 'thank you' to them for all their hard work.

In Somerset the Cricket Board, who oversees the recreational game in the county,like to thank our their OSCA finalists with a day out at The County Ground, thanks to donated tickets from Somerset CCC.

This year the SCB are inviting the top two nominations in each category along with their partners or guest, to a hospitality day at the County Ground on Sunday, July 27 for ther Royal London 50 over game between the Somerset and Durham.

The awards are an opportunity for people to nominate and recognise the volunteers who make cricket possible at their club.
