RED Tile FC were crowned Bill Brown Cup champions on Sunday following a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Blake Old Boys.

Adam Evans, Jack Taylor and Scott Capel netted for Tile, who will also be hoping to secure the Division 1 title in the coming weeks.

In the quarter-finals of the Dave Hobbs Cup, Grasshoppers were 4-0 winners at Flag Old Boys thanks to a goal apiece from Chris Harman, Mattie Winter, Paul Hooper and Dan Saunders.

In league action, Tiger Old Boys Reserves’ Division 2 title hopes suffered a setback as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Knowle – and Middlezoy Amicus took advantage of their slip-up to climb level on points and take top spot on goal difference, with a 10-2 victory at home to Ramblers.

Harry and James Millard each grabbed a brace – and there were further goals for James Lacey, Aaron James, Kyle Butler, Tom Bulmer, Nathan Barnard and Nathan Argent.

In the only Division 3 fixture, Red Tile Reserves were comfortable 5-2 winners against ROF, to keep the pressure on leaders Cobblestones.
