South-West Women’s Premier
Bridgwater Town 1, Swindon Spitfires 4
AFTER playing in torrential rain last week, Bridgwater Town Ladies found themselves playing in glorious sunshine this time around – but, unfortunately, they didn’t put on a sunshine display.
Playing against the breeze, Bridgwater found themselves 3-0 down at half time.
In the second half, things improved but the hosts allowed Swindon to hit a fourth before Anusia Rourke pulled a goal back near the end.
l On Sunday, the Bridgwater Town Ladies are at home again against Frome Town, kick-off 2pm.
