BRIDGWATER Town manager Richard Fey has expressed his frustration at the spell of wet weather that has left his side without a game for almost seven weeks.
The Robins' game against Shortwood United was called off on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch and tonight's local derby with Clevedon Town has also been postponed after the weekend's rain left the Fairfax Park pitch unplayable.
Fey said: “It's frustrating because this weather has been going on now for six weeks. We're not the only club to have postponements and its going to be back to playing consecutive mid-week games again, like we had in the first half of the season.
“We're half way through our fixtures and it's come at a bad time for us, without playing this long, as we were on a good run.
“The boys are still working hard in training and can't wait to get back out there.”
