ENMORE Seniors started the 2014 season early this year with the return away 'Winter Warmer' match against Minehead.
New Senior's captain, John Newell, started in fine fashion - playing with last season's captain, Keith Norcutt, and against the same opponents who beat them on the Enmore course in November.
The Enmore pair ran out convincing winners, 9up.
Other points gained in a fine four and a half to three and a half win were won by Mike Cavill with Tony Pomeroy (6 up); Ray Hancock with Iain Stewart (5 up); Paul Waplington with Jim Symcox (3 up).
The half point was gained by Colin Fitzpatrick with Roger Cross.
The overall score for the two games was an emphatic 52 holes up for Enmore with Minehead gaining just seven. Enmore's next 'Winter Warmer' is at Weston-super-Mare in February.
