Wembdon 2, Taunton North 2

WEMBDON started this match with only eight players and were punished by Taunton North in the first half.

Playing down the slope and with the wind and extra man Taunton North scored two goals in the first half.

It could have been more but for some excellent saves from Dan James in goal, keeping Wembdon in the game. Wembdon had their chances in the first half with Kieran Barrow making several telling runs down the right and several chances in front of goal going close.

After a team talk at half time Wembdon were a different side.

Kieran Barrow continued to make telling runs down the right; Alex Stevens delivered several cracking corners putting the Taunton goal under constant pressure.

Kieran Barrow was rewarded for his hard work with a fine finish following more pressure on both flanks.

Brandon Cook finished off another period of pressure from Wembdon to draw the team's level.

A couple of fine saves from Dan James in goal kept Wembdon in the game as well as excellent defending from Ben Cotton and Alex Kirkpatrick. Joe Redman Will Andrews and Kieran Barrow continued to dominate the middle of the park and all had chances to grab the winner for Wembdon late on.
