Bridgwater Town have 'nothing to lose' in Bath City clash

GERAINT Bater believes 'all the pressure is on Bath City' ahead of Bridgwater Town's FA Cup Third Qualifying Round Clash next Saturday (October 12) at Fairfax Park.
The Robins booked their place in the third round with a 2-1 victory over Bristol Manor Farm on Tuesday night, and player-coach Bater says his side have nothing to lose:
"It's going to be a great occasion, but all the pressure is on Bath City. We're going to go and give it our best shot, but we really have nothing to lose.
"They're a few leagues above us and have a lot of players who have played professionally, so they're expected to beat us and as I said, all the pressure is on them.
"The most important thing has been the prize money - that's going to be a huge help to the club."
Goals from Dean Griffiths and Bradley Middleton helped Town overcome Manor Farm in Tuesday night's replay, but Bater thinks the side underperformed. He said:
"We didn't play well again on Tuesday, but it's cup football and all that matters is that we got the result and we're through to the next round. The lads know it wasn't a great performance, but we did enough and that's all that matters."
Bridgwater Town face an away trip to Chalfont St Peter in the FA Trophy on Saturday, Kick-Off 3pm.
