David Flack from Bridgwater appointed chairman of South-West swimming board

The South West Regional Management Board of the Amateur Swimming Association have appointed a new Chairman.

David Flack from Bridgwater was appointed this week and will take up his new role in September. David who has been a member of the Regional Board for the past 8 years and replaces the current Chair Sue Dors whose tenure of office finishes at the Annual General Meeting of the Association in September.

David a former Chairman of the ASA's Regional and National Swim21 accreditation panels brings with him a wealth of experience at County, Regional and National level. He is currently the Development Officer for Somerset ASA and President of Bridgwater Swimming Club.

Commenting on his appointment David said "I am delighted to have been appointed and I am looking forward to leading the Region in the coming years, there clearly will be challlenges ahead but with everyones support I know we will be able to move the Region forward to the next level"
