TOM Lott and Piers Govier both scored twice as Bridgwater Sunday League stormed through to the Mavis Tate Cup semi-final.

The pair were part of the side which dispatched Frome 5-2 on Sunday, with James Bawden bagging the other goal.

In the Dave Hobbs Cup second round, Lee White scored a remarkable six goals as Flag Old Boys beat Rhode Lane Wanderers 10-0.

Andy White and Jamie Stewart helped themselves to two apiece, while in the other game Tiger Reserves saw off Knowle Dynamos 5-3.

Ian Bellinger (pen), Nick Kierle, Jamie Chillingworth, Sean Cash and Steve Lott scored for Tiger, with John Bell and two from Pete Boot in reply.

In league action, Blake Old Boys beat Middlezoy Amicus 4-1 in Division One thanks to goals from Aaron Head, Jamie Evans, Martin Milton and Connor Watts.

In the same division Abbey Moor lost 5-4 at home to Highburn. Adam Lock got three for the visitors.

Puriton thrashed North Petherton 11-1 in Division Two, with Tom Andrew and Josh Champion both getting four goals.

Mike Skidmore scored a hat-trick in Ramblers’ 5-3 win over ROF in the same division.

James Cornish and Joe Clark also helped themselves to a goal.
