TWO goals in the final ten minutes saw Bridgwater through to the semi-finals of the Somerset Premier Cup after a narrow 3-2 win against Bishops Sutton last night (February 26).
The team travelled to Lake View to take on their Toolstation League opponents and Craig Veal opened the scoring for Town in the 12th minute.
Sutton drew level through Metters 15 minutes later and then Hailston gave the home side a 2-1 half-time lead with the home side's second on 35 minutes.
The home side held out until the 80th minute when Veal was on hand to score his second of the game from close range after the Sutton keeper failed to deal with a cross.
Five minutes later Graham Mercieca found himself in a similar position to net the winner for Town.
The semi-finals are due to be played in week beginning April 8 which means rearranging the home league game against Poole Town.
