JUPITER progressed to the next round of the Somerset Cup after a solid 57-42 win over Taunton Vivary.
Good defence from Beckie Cowley and Lisa Durant, allowing Jupiter to pull away and in the second quarter saw both Paige Davey and Sammy Kemmish show good composure in order to put away the goals.
The third period saw Amy Shaw feed perfectly timed balls into the circle and in the final quarter tips and interceptions from Imma Matcham working alongside Baylea Charles sealed the deal.

Venus 56, Mars 36
VENUS claimed the bragging rights in their inter-club match with Mars. Venus started strongly and displayed some great netball as Chris Shaw and Cath Clark brought the ball down the court to feed Lianne Fothergill who was on form once again with outstanding shooting.
Venus dominated throughout the game and worked well as a team. Fantastic defending and timely interceptions by Michelle Stone, along with the support of Coleen Bartlett and Saskia Middleton in defence, ensured Venus a convincing win by 20 goals.
