TIGER Old Boys ensured their got their name in the hat for the next round of the Dave Hobbs Cup with a 2-1 win at home to Ramblers.
Two Jack Winter goals along with one apiece for Carl Jones and Cameron Wilkinson was enough to seal their place.
In the Bill Brown Cup first round, Aaron Head, Jamie Evans and Pete Pritchard helped Blake Old Boys beat Highburn 3-1. Adam Lock replied for the visitors.
Maltshovel’s Daryl Cocks, Andy Bath and Chris Singleton ensured they disposed of Middlezoy Amicus with a 3-1 win.
In the Geoff Harvey Cup first round, ROF dumped North Petherton out with an 8-0 drubbing.
Carl Gymer netted five times alongside a Matt Brewer brace and one from Craig Matthews.
Goals from Aaron Hardwidge and Rob McKinlay ensured Knowle beat Flag Old Boys 2-0.
Back in league action, Division One side Grasshoppers beat Abbey Moor 2-1 thanks to John Doyle and Paul Hooper netting.
Red Tile were on their travels to New Foresters and won 4-1 after Shane Thompson, Scott Capel, Carl Tucker and Josh Staunton scored with Rob White getting New Foresters’ consolation.
In Division Two, Huntspill BPH were indebted to a Toby Franklin hat-trick and one from Paul Burrows as they beat Rhode Lane Wanderers 4-3. Jamie Sellick scored a hat-trick for the visitors but it was to no avail.
Puriton beat Huntspill Crowns 7-1 after Tom Andrews and Dan Long bagged braces along with one for Josh Champion, Rob Trice and Jordan Ross. Mike Stevens scored for Huntspill.
Jamie Chillingworth and Ian Bellinger netted in Tiger Old Boys Reserves’ 2-0 win over Cornhill and the match between Cobblestones and Willow Green ended goalless.
There will be a Mavis Tate Cup semi-final tie on Sunday at Bridgwater Town's Fairfax Park between a pick of the league representative side from Bridgwater Sunday League and their counterparts from Frome Sunday League. The game kicks off at 11am.
