MIDDLEZOY suffered only their fourth loss of the season and were knocked off top spot with a 3-1 defeat at the weekend.
On 18 minutes, Middlezoy opened the scoring when a powerful header from captain Darren Cann went in off the post.
The visitors deservedly drew level on 32 minutes when Middlezoy were undone by a diagonal ball resulting in a deep cross and headed finish.
The end of the first half saw the visitors start to dominate the game but the teams went in level at half time.
The second half began in similar fashion and it was 2-1 to the away side with 55 minutes gone.
Middezoy began to chase the game, but were unable to create anything clear cut and the game as won on 70 minutes when a breakaway led to a third for the visitors.
Middlezoy travel to Combe St Nicholas next weekend.
