Somerset 2S
Bridgwater & Albion III 13, Morganians 31
MORGANIANS produced a second-successive win to move off the bottom of the table.
The visitors opened the scoring after two minutes to take a 7-0 lead, which was soon cut back by Bridgwater’s George Burternshaw to make it 7-5.
Dave Norman then scored Albion’s second try on ten minutes to give the home side a 10-7 lead before Morgs came back into the game with an unconverted try on 28 minutes.
Jonathan Frost ensured Albion had the final say of the half as he slotted over a penalty to give his side a narrow 12-13 lead at the break.
The second half was a very one-sided affair as Morgs produced a superb display and ran in a further three tries, two of which were converted, to take a 13-31 win.
