ALBION head coach Kevin Innalls hopes that their 17-13 win against Oldfield Old Boys is the springboard to safety from relegation threat.

It was Albion's sixth win of the season and with seven or eight sides fighting to avoid relegation, Innalls said now is the time the team need to put a good run together.

He said: “Hopefully this can be the start of a revival for us.

“We are looking for another four or five wins to be safe so we need to work towards that and I hope the new players that we have brought in can integrate themselves into the team quickly.

“I was a little bit disappointed with the performance on Saturday because I wanted us to get the bonus point which would have denied Oldfield of a point too.

“But the side is improving, we just need them to keep gelling together because there is nobody in this league we can't beat and we are in a far stronger position that we have been all season.”

Albion's next match is on Saturday when they travel to fifth placed side Thornbury.
