Ashton and Backwell United 3, Bridgwater Town Res 4
A HAT-TRICK of penalties by Kenzie Farnham (pictured) helped Bridgwater seal a narrow 4-3 win against a physical Ashton and Backwell United side.
Callum Kennelly opened the scoring with a curling free-kick from the edge of the box before the home side levelled shortly after.
Town regained the lead when Farnham slotted home his spot kick after Michael Duffy was brought down but once again the home side equalised to make the scores 2-2 at half-time.
Ashton were reduced to ten men following a straight red card after Jake Bennett was fouled in the box resulting in Farnham's second successful strike from the penalty spot.
The home side scored straight from the kick-off to make it 3-3 but the winner came with six minutes left on the clock as 16-year-old debutant Harry Horton, who had an excellent game, was bundled over and Farnham kept his cool to score the penalty.
The team have no game this weekend.
