ARRANGEMENTS for the 2013 Baker Cup are well underway as Taunton’s own 20/20 cricket competition enters its 76th successive season.

An entry pool of 20 sides is anticipated with new entrants Ashcott and Shapwick and Staplegrove B going someway to offsetting the loss of Taunton St Andrews B, Sampford Arundel and Trull.

Again there will be the Terry Mockridge Memorial Shield – which celebrates its tenth season of action – for those sides who lose in either the preliminary or first round of the Baker Cup.

No more entries for season 2013 are to be accepted from outside of those already invited.

The competition’s AGM will be held at Taunton Vale Sports Club on Wednesday, March 20 at 7.30pm and competing clubs are asked to send a representative.
