ASHCOTT dropped only one point in their derby against Acorns.
In the triples Aschott’s Colin Sandford, Stephanie Bray and Barbara Foster drew 10-10 with Acorns’ Eric Shackleford, Mollie Gay and Judith Shackleford.
In the other triples Joan Cornwall, Alan Bray and Pete Rendale won 11-5 against Merv Selway, Colin Gay and Dave Poole.
Ashcot’s pairing of Terry Lacey and Terry Francis beat Clem and Judy Gardner 16-5 while on the other mat there was a win for Jenny Todman and Mary Bisgrove by 11-5 over Acorns’ Graham Wood and Barbara Heal.
Ashcott gained the two bonus points for overall shots.
