JOINT boss Kevin Milsom said a change in tactics and a great work ethic are the key factors to his team's recent turnaround in form.

The 1-0 win at the weekend was Bridgwater's fourth win in a fortnight, a result which lifts them up to 15th in the table.

Milsom said: “Goals win games but the clean sheets are a massive bonus and the hard work the boys are putting in is paying dividend.

“I don't like to set specific targets for the team but we know where we should be in the table and we need to be in the top half come the business end of the season.”

Ross MacNab's header at the near post sealed Saturday's three points and Milsom was full of praise for his front man.

He said: “Ross was always in our plans, he is an honest lad and works hard all day long.

“He doesn't always get the credit he deserves or the goals he should but he is a nuisance to other team and thanks to a superb delivery from Jon [Vance] he was the difference on Saturday.”

This Saturday, the team travel to newly-promoted side Shortwood United who are 18th in the table.

Milsom said that Kye Mountford (back) and Phil Veal (ankle) were carrying knocks but should be fit for the weekend.

Kick-off is 3pm.
