■ LAURA Butcher, of Bridgwater, and Gary Scott, of Burnham, were married in a civil ceremony in a gazebo on the lake at Hornsbury Mill, Chard. The bridegroom, a builder, is the second son of David Scott and Christine Bees, from Burnham. The bride, a housewife, is the second daughter of Robert and Wendy Butcher, of Chilton Polden. The couple spent their honeymoon in Egypt.
