A reception was held at Morganians Rugby Club, Bridgwater, and the couple will take their honeymoon at a later date.

Their reception for 53 guests followed at Battleborough Grange, with an evening reception for 130 guests also at Battleborough Grange. Stuart, a crime scene investigator with the Avon and Somerset Constabulary, is the only son of Edna May Nichols, and Victoria, a trainee manager, is the youngest daughter of Felicity Ann Thorne.The couple spent their honeymoon in Cyprus.

Zaki Ahamed Shamseer, the eldest son of Sader Nasir Uddin and Shajadi Yasmin Sayeka of Dhaka, Bangladesh, married Miss Selina Jayne Bacon, the youngest daughter of Michael Gordon Bacon of Bridgwater, and Maureen Anne Edwards of Axbridge. The bridegroom is a student studying accountancy and the bride is a price integrity assistant at Tesco, Weston-Super-Mare. The couple live at Macfarlane Chase, Weston-Super-Mare and were married at St Andrew’s Church, Weston-Super-Mare. Their reception was held at Oak House Hotel, Axbridge, and they were joined by 60 guests to celebrate the day. The honeymoon destination is set for Jersey and includes a trip to Radisson SAS Waterfront.

The Wedding of Kieran Rossiter and Laura Armstrong

THE wedding of Mr Kieran James Rossiter and Miss Laura Jayne Armstrong took place at St Andrew’s Church, Taunton. The bride, who lives in Stogursey and works as a shop floor assistant at Asda, is the only daughter of Mrs Farmstrong and the second daughter of Mr W. Armstrong, also of Stogursey. The bridegroom is a warehouse operative at Asda and is the first son of Mr K. Rossiter and Mrs T. Wetherall, and all live in Bridgwater. The reception was held at Quantock Lodge and the couple celebrated their day here with 120 guests.

GARRIE Arthur Wynn, the eldest son of Arthur and Jill Wynn of Penlea House, Bridgwater, married Miss Sarah Louise Nation, the only daughter of Michael and Elaine Nation who live at Broadhurst Gardens, Burnham-on-Sea. Garrie is a cleaner at Sharinter Park and Sarah is a retired painter and decorator. The couple, who live in Penlea Avenue, Bridgwater, were married at St Mary’s Church, Bridgwater and held their reception at Wellworthy’s Club, enjoying the day with150 guests. Garrie and Sarah are headed for Cornwall for their honeymoon.

Matthew is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs Richard Williams, of Berrow, and Sally, the youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Anthony Cousins, of Berrow. Matthew is a police officer and Sally is a senior nursery nurse. Their reception for 150 guests was held at The Batch Country Hotel, and they spent their honeymoon in Egypt.

The bridegroom is the youngest son of Peter and Christine Galley, of Nicholls Close, Durleigh and the bride is the eldest daughter of Terry and Shirley Davis, of Parkway, Bridgwater. A reception for 90 guests during the day and 130 in the evening took place at Bar 27 and the couple spent their honeymoon in Newquay.
