Gilbert George Davis of Holford Road, Bridgwater died at Musgrove Park Hospital, on July 25. Aged 78 years. Gilbert was a retired police officer, serving for many years in the Cannington district. He was a keen bellringer who rang at Durleigh, Bridgwater, and all around the country with the National Guild of Police Ringers.
The funeral on August 5, at Taunton Deane Crematorium, was conducted by Rev Kelvin Williams.
