THE AGM of Bridgwater Flower Club was held in February with a small group of members, owing to the weather causing a few apologies.

Members later enjoyed a very interesting demonstration by Nick Heal who showed numerous uses for willow and got all making twisted willow balls, which was great fun!

The club welcomes members old and new to the new flower year beginning in March. There are lots of exciting demonstrations to entice you to their delightful performances. Subscriptions will be due this month. Visitors will always be welcome to meetings for a small fee of £4.

The meeting on Tuesday, March 10, will be held at the New Legion Club at 7.30pm, where members will be entertained by Beryl Griffiths, whose title ‘Floral B’s’ will include ‘buds, blossoms and bells’.

Also at club meetings is an excellent plant stall, sales table and raffle, where all have a chance of winning one of the arrangements which Beryl will be producing throughout the evening.
