FOUR men have been arrested in connection with a spate of burglaries in Yeovil.
Two men from Yeovil were arrested regarding an attempted burglary in Preston Grove on February 16.
Another two, also from the local area were arrested and charged in relation to a burglary in Stiby Road on February 17.
Over the past few days there have been three other suspected property burglaries reported in Yeovil, which are currently being investigated.
DS Scott Chadwick said: "I am pleased that we have been able to charge two individuals so quickly in relation to a burglary on February 17 and we will continue to investigate the recent burglary offences thoroughly."
These occurred at a property near Alexandra Road sometime between February 11 and 17, in the Stiby Road area in the afternoon of February 17 and overnight at Blenheim Road on February 19 to February 20.
The offender attempted to force a door or window to access the building on all three occasions, but gained no entry.
