SOMERSET seems to have escaped the worst of the weather hitting the UK over the weekend.
Forecasters can't promise a brilliant day in the county today (Monday), but at least the winds have died done somewhat and it won't be so wet.
This morning is going to be rather cloudy, with some patchy rain, sleet or snow possible.
It will clear into the afternoon with some sunny spells.
But it's still going to be cold, reaching only a couple of degrees above freezing.
