AUDITIONS for reality singing show The X Factor are heading for Somerset.

A team from the show, which features celebrity judges including the infamous Simon Cowell, is travelling the length and breadth of the country on the 2017 audition tour.

And the show will stop off at the Quedam Shopping Centre, in Vicarage Walk, Yeovil, on Sunday, with hopefuls welcome from 10am until 5pm.

A spokesman for the show said: "So if you think you could be the next Matt Terry, Louisa Johnson, One Direction, Little Mix or Olly Murs, or know someone who you think could be, now is the time to come along and showcase your vocal talent."

For anyone not able to make the event, video auditions can be uploaded via https://application.xfactor.tv.

Acts are advised to turn up early to be sure to grab a slot as the Mobile Auditions are on a first-come, first-served basis.

If those taking part impress The X Factor team with their vocals, they will then be in with a chance of auditioning in front of the X Factor judges, when the judges’ auditions take place in summer.

The X Factor will return to ITV later this year. Fans of the show can follow all the action via @TheXFactor on Twitter and Instagram and on Facebook.com/TheXFactor.
