THE Pride of Somerset Youth Awards are back - to shine a light on some of our county's amazing young people.
The awards, in their eighth year, are run by Newsquest Somerset, publishers of the Somerset County Gazette, Bridgwater Mercury, Burnham and Highbridge Weekly News, and Chard and Ilminster News, along with the Rotary Club of Taunton and BBC Somerset.
Peter Renshaw, of the Rotary Club of Taunton, said: “Over the years we have seen many examples of outstanding young people from across Somerset.
“As a Rotary Club we are always keen to support young people and celebrate their achievements.”
