HARD-WORKING pupils at Penrose School were rewarded for their efforts at its annual end of year awards.
Parents, friends, governors and special guests Pat and Jenny Parker, Mayor and Mayoress of Bridgwater, joined pupils for the event.
The Good Work awards assembly is an opportunity for school to thank and congratulate pupils and staff for their hard-work and enthusiasm during the year.
Head teacher Liz Hayward, who handed out more than 20 awards with help from the mayor and mayoress, said: “This is one of my favourite days in the school year, a day when we can truly celebrate learning at Penrose School.”
Award winners included Ashley Luckett, Doyas Cunningham, Paul Jenkins and Klaiton John, who was announced as the school's achiever of the year.
