Show with key messages performed at Cannington Primary School

A SHOW dealing with the message of friendship was enjoyed by pupils and staff at Cannington Primary School.

The Pied Piper Theatre Company visited the school to perform the Big Enormous Present, which revolved around a young girl whose father was away serving with the armed forces in Afghanistan.

The show's message revolved around what constitutes genuine friendship, with focus on who friends are as a person and not just about the way they look and the things they have.

Jan Hosent, from Cannington Primary School, said: “It dealt with quite difficult messages for the age groups but it was absolutely brilliant.

“The children really enjoyed it and one child came up to me and said it was the best thing they had ever seen in their whole life!”
