DRESSED to impress pupils at Shapwick School near Bridgwater raised nearly £500 for the Haiti appeal with a non-uniform day.
Youngsters paid at least £1 to wear their own threads for a day at the end of January and raised around £217 through sponsorship.
The senior students then gave the overall total a welcome boost with a further non-uniform day on February 5.
Julie Whatford, marketing manager, said: “The school is delighted by the wonderful response from all the pupils at Shapwick who were clearly moved by the terrible plight of the victims of the Haitian earthquake and gave so willingly from their pocket money.”
