Bridgwater College is top of the pops when it comes to A-level results in Somerset.
According to recent Government league tables for A-levels and equivalent qualifications, students at the college currently have the best grades in the county.
The Achievement and Attainment tables are based on average points per student over the last academic year, and include A-levels, BTEC Nationals, and other level three qualifications.
Delighted Fiona McMillan, principal, said: “Our results last year for both A-levels and BTEC Nationals were the best in our history and the Government league tables give us further reason for celebration.
“We are confident that our success is attributed to the excellent calibre of our staff, the significant investment we place in our resources, and the solid partnerships we build with our students and their parents.
“If our record breaking taster and open evening attendances are anything to go by, we are going to see a big surge in applications for places this year as more and more students seek to be part of the success story at Bridgwater College.”
